<p>Ainda assim, preparar arroz basmati não é complicado. Você pode optar pelo método mais conveniente para você. Seja ele por absorção que se assemelha ao método mais usual no Brasil, na panela de arroz ou até por imersão. Todas essas formas são possíveis</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Formas de cozinhar arroz basmati:</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1- Na panela</h3>



<p>Esse é o método mais comum para nós brasileiros. O método na panela comum por absorção. No caso de cozinhar o arroz basmati na panela siga os seguintes passos:</p>



<p><strong>PROPORÇÃO: 1 xícara de arroz basmati para 1 e 1/2 xícaras de água</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Não lave o arroz</strong>, esse é o primeiro passo se você gosta de um arroz soltinho;</li>



<li>Coloque a água e o arroz na panela em <strong>temperatura ambiente</strong>;</li>



<li><strong>Leve para ferver</strong>&nbsp;em fogo médio&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>sem a tampa;</em></li>



<li>Quando toda a superfície estiver borbulhante, coloque a tampa, abaixe para <em>médio baixo</em> e <strong>cozinhe por 12 minutos;</strong></li>



<li>Retire do fogão e deixe <strong>descansar tampado por 10 minutos;</strong></li>



<li>Solte o arroz com o auxílio de um grafo; </li>



<li>Sirva.</li>
</ul>



<p>Simples assim. Quando vou servir o arroz basmati com algum prato bastante condimentado não salgo. Caso você vá servir como acompanhamento de algum prato de sabor menos forte <a href="https://arianapazzini.com.br/receitas/cubos-de-peito-de-frango/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">como um grelhado</a>, uma salada ou algum <a href="https://arianapazzini.com.br/receitas/file-de-frango-com-crosta-de-castanha-de-caju/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">prato principal sem molho</a> que complementará o sabor do arroz, salgue como de costume e adicione 1 colher (de sopa) de manteiga na água do cozimento. Isso irá intensificar o sabor amendoado do basmati.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2- Na panela de arroz</h3>



<p><strong>Para preparar na panela de arroz utilize a mesma proporção da panela convencional que citei acima.</strong></p>



<p>Na panela adicione o arroz e a água, salgue se preferir, feche a panela e coloque para cozinhar. Assim que a panela de arroz terminar o cozimento, deixe tampada por pelo menos 5 minutos para terminar de cozinhar. Utilize um garfo e afofe o arroz com cuidado para os grãos não se quebrarem e sirva.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3- Cozinhando o arroz basmati por imersão:</h3>



<p><strong>PROPORÇÃO: 1 xícara de arroz para 2 xícaras de água.</strong></p>



<p>Primeiramente lave e deixe de molho por 30 minutos os grãos de arroz e em seguida siga esse processo:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Coloque a <strong>água para ferver</strong> em uma panela;</li>



<li><strong>Escorra </strong>o arroz de molho;</li>



<li>Quando a água estiver <strong>fervendo adicione o arroz</strong> e mexa;</li>



<li>Você perceberá que a água irá parar de ferver, fique de olho e quando voltar a <strong>ferver conte 10 minutos</strong>;</li>



<li><strong>Verifique se o grão está macio</strong>, se ainda estiver durinho cozinhe por mais alguns minutos, se estiver macio verta em uma peneira, <strong>escorra e para frear o cozimento passe por água corrente</strong>.</li>



<li>Assim que estiver cozido verta para um prato de servir.</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Algumas dicas para o sucesso do seu basmati:</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li> <strong>Panela e a tampa</strong> &#8211; O arroz basmati quando cozinho é espumoso, por isso evite cozinhar em uma panela muito pequena ou de tampa que não seja pesada para evitar que a borbulha abra a tampa e derrame em seu fogão.</li>



<li><strong>Não é necessário deixar de molho</strong> o arroz no método de absorção desde que você utilize as meditas exatas de água que citei. </li>



<li><strong>Afofe com cuidado</strong>. Cuidado quando for soltar o arroz cozido para não quebrar os longos grãos de basmati e colocar todo o visual a perder.</li>



<li>Arroz basmati não é o mesmo que arroz agulinha, <strong>os grãos do basmati são mais longos e aromáticos</strong>. Mas, nutricionalmente falando eles são muito parecidos.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Posso congelar o arroz basmati?</h2>



<p><strong>Sim! Você pode</strong>! Prepare um curry saboroso e prepare as marmitas da semana com basmati. Para descongelar pratos compostos é só retirar do congelador e levar para a geladeira na noite anterior, depois disso é só aquecer no microondas.</p>



<p>Se você congelou o arroz basmati sem acompanhamento com molho por exemplo, é só levar do freezer ao microondas em pote bem tampado.</p>



<p>Congelado o arroz basmati tem validade de até 90 dias. Mas quanto mais tempo no freezer mais seco ele ficará. Prefiro consumir em 30 dias que assim ele se assemelha ao arroz preparado fresquinho.</p>



<p>Na geladeira você pode conservar por até 5 dias. Uma boa escolha para preparar as marmitas da semana.</p>

Conseguir fazer o arroz ficar soltinho e gostoso requer alguns segredinhos e bem sei que para os iniciantes na cozinha este é um enorme desafio. Não vou mentir que vez em quando o meu empapa, ou fica salgado, ou dá aquela queimada básica, afinal, cozinha de verdade é assim mesmo. Mas noves fora isso, geralmente meu arroz é bem gostosinho, e pra deixar ele ainda melhor eu lanço mão de um ingrediente que não pode faltar: o azeite. Mas não é qualquer azeite, tem que ser azeite honesto, né? Um toque de azeite quando o arroz já está pronto é capaz de fazer milagres.
